Which one should i get?

Just sold my Canon S5 IS and i wan to get a dslr. Currently still deciding which one to get. 450D or 1000D. I would wan to get 450D but i cannot buy anymore lense because my budget is around 3k. so if i get 1000D i might be able to get another zoom lense or a flash. Which one should i get? Hmmm.
